Task 6.1

Literature analysis of deliberation and identity construction in the past deliberative experiments at EU levels [Months 8-16] - UP8, USTUTT
The first task will rest upon a qualitative analysis of the literature concerning deliberation and European identity, relying upon the inventory of WP1. It will imply a discussion of the theoretical discussion on the one hand, and we will assess from the point of view of identity the literature related to experiences of past deliberative experiments at EU level, be them institutional (such as Plan D. Europe or “Ask the People” -European Migrant Advisory Board project), be them extra-institutional (European Social Forum, European citizen assembly on national debt...).
