Task 6.2

Comparative analysis of deliberation and identity construction in 4 European social networks at EU level. [Months 8-26] - UP8, USTUTT, UNISI
A second task will consist in selecting during the first 24 months of the research 4 social networks active at EU level linked to different political tendencies: one national-populist, one liberal, one from the radical left and one linked to the ecology. We will study the relation between deliberation and identity construction in each case, with a special focus on the multilingual dimension, and will compare the identity dynamics at stake in the 4 networks. We will compare the analysis of the interaction within the social media environment created within the EUComMeet platform with these
results. Although the most important method will be ethnographic, we will also use quantitative methods of internet finding.
